Lieberman and Romney attack Obama

(Sort of a pretty important) Note: Turns out Romney criticized Obama for having said that he’d be willing to meet with Iranian President Ahmadinejad, not because Obama had said that he’d bomb Iran. That makes sense! Unfortunately, I wrote pretty much the exact opposite. Oops…should’ve read that more carefully. Apologies. I’ll leave it up for your amusement.

This is rich. Joe Lieberman thinks Barack Obama’s reaction to McCain’s statement that Obama is Hamas’s candidate of choice, which obviously means that Obama is a terrorist, was “undeserved and somewhat intemperate.” Meanwhile, Mitt Romney criticized Obama for saying that he would attack Iran. They’re trying to suggest that Obama’s got thin skin, is a terrorist-sympathizer, and has crazy war-hawk (not sure how you can be both). The terrorist-lover charge was expected all along, but criticizing Obama for a hawkish position on Iran? Did they forget that their candidate sang “bomb Iran“? It’s like they decided that the only way to win the election is to make Obama seem just as insane as McCain.
