Hillary: “No Decisions Tonight”

She begins by congratulating Obama and his supporters on a well-run race, and says that it’s been an honor to contest the primaries with someone she can call her friend. Much later in the speech, there’s this:

“This has been a long campaign, and I will be making no decisions tonight.” Well, so much for her conceding the race to Obama. At no point did she acknowledge that he was the presumptive nominee. A couple of other tidbits:

“I would like all of us to take a moment to recognize [Obama] and all of his supporters for all they’ve accomplised.”

“You know, I understand that a lot of people are asking, ‘What does Hillary want? What does she want?’ Well, I want what I’ve always fought for in this campaign. I want to end the war in Iraq, I want to to turn this economy around, I want health care for every American, I want every child to live off his or her god-given potential, and I want the nearly 18 million Americans who voted for me to be respected, to be heard, and no longer to be invisible.”

“Lady Liberty’s presence and the Towers absence are a constant reminder that here in America, we are resilient, we are courageous, we embrace all of our people, and that when we face our challenges together, there is no barrier we can’t overcome, no dream we can’t realize, nothing we can’t do if we just starting acting like Americans again. Thank you all very much.”

She finished the race just how she ran it, with no class. As a woman, I gotta tell ya, it hurt.

Wait, where’s the lack of class? Look at those quotes, that’s top notch modern-American rhetoric. Obama’s gonna get the nomination, so there is no need for anyone to be mean to Hill anymore, (plus she’ll probably be his VP). Let’s focus on hating McCain together.

Did they serve koolaid to you last night too? Dude, she didn’t even mention that he won. YES, there is a lack of class and respect from Hillary and her whole camp. She lost, it’s over and how anyone who wants to take it to Denver can act like McCain is now the focus is beyond me. That makes no sense. Mean to Hill? Are you serious! She ran the most nasty camp of any dem in recent history! and now instead of conceding like a person with class, she’s bullying her way into Denver, riding the coattails of her husbands prez. How can you say she’s classy when she’s has lost and she’s banking on the something terrible happening to the winner from her own party? That is not class. That is very Karl Rove and for the record, Obama has not mentioned her has VP at all lately. Hating MCsame together? Is that what everyone was chanting last night! I don’t think so! I’m pretty sure there are entire groups of Hillary supporters who were quoted as saying they will now vote for McSame. How is that unifying the party again? How is that classy? If she wants to continue to divide the party and take it to Denver, then people will be mean, deal.
