Medicine Agency: Gallery & Shop Opening Friday
Monday, July 27, 2009

“SLEEP IS NOT AN OPTION” – it’s been the mantra of Medicine Agency since 2003 and now they’ve taken it to new extremes since the creative services and consulting agency signed their lease at 1262 Mason Street in San Francisco.
Located in the heart of the city, directly across from the Cable Car Museum is an area locals call the “Mason Street Art District” where many well established artists take advantage of the nearly 10,000 tourists passing by daily – this is where Medicine Agency chose to open their first brick-and-mortar location to the public.

The new Medicine Agency location is a huge upgrade from just “an office with enough space for all the desks and the ping-pong table” as Med’s President, Rama Mayo, will explain “it’s a whole new venture that is going to catapult the results this agency has been producing for our clients.”
Mayo, transformed the upper level into a full scale gallery & retail shop that will host revolving installations and pop-ups by some of today’s most respected contemporary artists and brands including Ron English, Giovanni Reda, Buff Monster, Day 19, Rony Alwin, Black Klown Clothier (2x Superbowl winner Tully Banta-Cain & artist Jerod Alexander), and Rowdy (hit music producer Dallas Austin & Atlanta-based artist Greg Mike) all in the next year.
The lower level has offices buzzing below where the creative work, like websites and videos, gets done. Medicine Agency CEO, John LaCroix sees new ways to help Medicine Agency clients – “Now we have a place where we can bring the people in to interact with these brands and observe. I can’t think of a better way to learn and that helps us do better work.”
Medicine Agency will be celebrating the grand opening of the new gallery & shop featuring “Dream Series” by Jerod Alexander for Black Klown Clothier on Friday July 31st, 2009.
