Vice Films asked us to produce a film screening and DVD release party for their documentary film, Heavy Metal In Baghdad. We secured a partnership with ‘True Metal Night’, an existing monthly party thrown at Beauty Bar in Hollywood. We designed posters and flyers that we distributed from top LA retail spaces including Amoeba Records, Huf, The Hundreds, Joyrich, Barracuda, Headline Records, Canvas Tattoo, Turntablelab, And Still plus more. VIP email invites were sent to LA’s most influential people.

We created a custom “Heavy Metal In Baghdad” banner that was used by photographer Rony Alwin (ronysphotobooth.com) as a backdrop for documenting the event. Over 300 of the Los Angeles areas’ top VIPs were in attendance throughout the evening and it was covered by a variety of blogs, websites and traditional press.
